There is no right answer for this. Mostly personal preference and security vs. convenience.
Hot storage (with Spark support) - XUMM or Exodus.
Cold storage - Ledger/Trezor or Paper/Metal Wallet

So I bought XRP around 40c and let me tell you. When the market first crashed in March and XRP reached 17c I realized it is over and I will never be rich. The kikes will never allow it. At first it was hard trying to come to terms with this fact but I eventually came to the conclusion that the only way to be rich, is to pretend and I am rich. So one day I blurted out to my friends and family that I'm very rich and have pretty much made it for quite a while but that I've been keeping a low profile for obvious reasons. Then I started telling them all about RapidX, Brand Garlinghouse, babacugs, the Masonic Monetary System and how everything else works . First, they didn't believe me. Second, every time the price of Bitcoin went up or was in the media they kept asking me about my "bitcoins", "how about those bitcoins going up lately anon". It was very hard dealing with this sort of double life so I just kept smiling but deep inside I was seething because the price of XRP was still .25c at that time and I had traded my BTC for more XRP the year before and here I was holding my Ripple bags while the Golden Bull Run was departing without me. Just one disaster after the next, at one point I was shorting XRP because my stack was getting smaller from all the failed longs before. Even that didn't stick as Ripple made some pathetic announcement about some bank partnership so the price shot up 5% and liquidated me. My friends and family all think I'm the same loser so nothing has changed except now I'm also known as that "weird bitcoin guy". I don't know how much longer I can keep this charade going and I don't think it even worked. What should I do now? Should I double down and buy more XRP or should I sell?

You called the character on the boat many times Christ. I might be a bad person but I would never willingly would people astray towards the Hellfire. That's just evil.

nothing reflects value better than PMs. the cost of labor, the cost of energy, the cost of manufacturing. cars, electronics, appliances. the only way to regulate the amount of waste and pollution humans create is to have currency tied to a non-renewable resource like PMs. why should people spend money on unnecessary things so carelessly? because we need inflation? because they have to be able to issue "fedcoin" and save an economy that is based on unsustainable growth?

On a related note, BBC is a myth. I was in a gangbang once when I was very young, and out of all the men there, the three black dudes that participated had either the smallest or most average sized dicks out of everyone in the room. I whipped my cock out and was bigger than everyone there when hard. The girl went straight to me, and they sheepishly jerked their boners and dribbled tiny loads while the performer spent about 15 mins straight polishing and worshipping my cock, before I unloaded 10+ big ropes of sticky sperm all over her boobies and neck. She called it a one man bukkake.

To combat this people started putting their keys in faraday pouches when at home. They discovered that after a few weeks the pouch started ‘leaking’ and signals started getting through again.

So anyone relying on a faraday pouch needs to regularly test and replace it.

If 5k does not make it (again based on however you define making it), you are probably better positioned / closer to making it with the 5k than without it.

so let's talk about this Chinese digital yuan law, where they outlawed all competitors, notably cracking down on Tether-based gambling sites:

https://news.bitcoin.com/china-law-legalize-digital-yuan/

a couple notable things here:
a) it looks like they're just about ready to officially launch their digital currency after testing it in Shenzhen (the timing of this is interesting considering JPM's coin is also going live this week)
b) the fact that they are outlawing competitors is interesting because it seems to indicate that "walled gardens" will be the norm with CBDCs, thus re-affirming the need for a bridge currency, which is bullish obv

c) the fact that they are cracking down on non-digital Yuan currencies is interesting because it calls into question the future of stateless currencies, notably BTC which is doing quite well at the moment

I am very curious to see what gets discussed at this G20 debt relief meeting on the (13)th

i recommend anons read some of these articles published by Flare to understand how big this might be:
https://flare.ghost.io/closingthecircle/
https://flare.ghost.io/fxrp-walkthru/
https://flare.ghost.io/theflarenetwork/
https://flare.ghost.io/flare-consensus-protocol-an-explainer/
https://flare.ghost.io/introducing-flare/
https://www.coinspeaker.com/ripple-flare-finance-defi-xrp/

DeFi, thus far, has been limited by its exclusivity: it's basically only been used in the ERC20 ecosystem

Flare will expand this decentralized mechanism to not only crypto (which is huge- imagine a world where Coinbase wasn't necessary) but potentially the stock market and things like real estate, as well.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: don't sell your Spark tokens when you receive them. rather, buy as many as you can. this is going to be huge.

remember, cross-border payments is merely the first use-case Ripple is tackling.

"alice uses the decentralized derivatives application"

do you understand the implications of this sentence anons

do you understand that mankind has been laboring under the yoke of absolutely insufferable, Brooks Brothers-and-Savile Row-clad assholes who have been claiming their pound of flesh literally since finance was invented as a corollary of the type of temple-based organized religion where people paid part of their grain harvest to the temple elites and this has the potential to remove those bloodsucking middlemen

Man, I really think Flare could be a fairly significant turning point in human history, if it plays out like it potentially could.

Now, I know that Nothing Ever Happens...but if this continues to unfold like it currently is, this could be huge!

I'm just curious who this Hugo Philion character is, and why they are being allowed to debut this technology. Don't the IMF, BIS and all the central banks realize that this could take a huge chunk out of their profits?

Or is it hubris? They think that it's just some geeky app that won't amount to anything.

"Alice opens the decentralized derivatives application." Christ.

Right now I'm trying to figure out what being a Flare "agent" would look like- it looks like, as prices fluctuate, the rate of collateralization will necessarily fluctuate as well- so it might necessitate putting more Spark into the system, or more XRP, or what have you.

reminder that at the beginning, Flare will allow collateralization of XRP, but in the future it could allow BTC, USD, and XLM:

"The FTSO will be initiated to provide the following prices for: XRP/Spark, USD/Spark, BTC/Spark, and XLM/Spark. Only XRP/Spark will have a corresponding F-asset at the outset. Additional time series and their related F-assets can be proposed and accepted through the Governance process."

Yeah I'm talking about immediately putting like $5-10k into Spark on December 12 at 12:01 am (maybe more like 12:20 for symmetry's sake) so that I can function as an agent for people wanting to lend/borrow large amounts of money. those 5% fees will add up quick and I want to get in on the ground floor. i don't see any way Spark won't increase in value pretty drastically as well- just like XRP, in order to perform its intended function, it will have to.

Think about what happened with UNI- that coin could have been huge, if it had had any actual function, and it skyrocketed overnight until people realized it didn't actually do anything. i think the Spark airdrop will be like UNI could have been.

>> No.23591441

this article is interesting: i just learned that Spark holders can earn incentives one of two ways:

1. using Spark to collateralize XRP (and later BTC, USD(C) and XLM)

2. Staking it to provide oracle data- they call it Flare Time Series Oracle (bye Link)

Spark holders will also be able to vote on things (like, for example, including BTC, XLM or USD(C) in the Spark ecosystem)- I've read about governance tokens before, but never really seen a situation where they might be used. Seems like Flare will be actually putting a lot of these concepts into play.

...so, i've been receiving some interesting deliveries to my house lately.

a few days ago, i was doxxed in one of these threads- somebody posted a link to a tweet I had commented on. my twitter handle is close to my real name, and my avatar is my face. i thought it was weird, but whatever.

then i received a checkerboard rug, like a 5x5ft circular black and white rug, which, I figured one of my friends or family had randomly decided to send me a gift and I was just being paranoid by reading Masonic/cryto allusions into it...I asked around, and nobody sent me the rug. Hmm

Today, I received a copy of this book:

Some kind of memoir about the author's relationship with John F Kennedy Jr, who I know is some kind of Q icon, they claim he's still alive etc.

Who the fuck is sending this stuff to my house? Is it some kind of threat? Glowies fucking with me? It kind of makes me worried on the $5 wrench attack front, but whatever. I'm just some guy, r-right?

do you know how many 3 letter permutations there are for 26 letters. its 15,600. so just off of that alone, its a 1/15600 chance i would see XRP specifically in that order. then you have to factor in the fact that i live in a neighborhood where i hardly see new cars, its always just my neighbors. license plates are 7 characters/digits, so the actual probability is the probability that a specific 3 character permutatoin occurs in this sting of 7 characters etc. just think about it thats fucking odd.

Yep, very bullish. Also tracks the sentiments from the ECB. The question becomes not ‘will they have a bridge’ but ‘what will be the bridge’ and IYKYK.

>c) the fact that they are cracking down on non-digital Yuan currencies is interesting because it calls into question the future of stateless currencies, notably BTC which is doing quite well at the moment
Again - seems to track what other national bodies are saying. This is why you all-in XRP. It’s not a currency in the ordinary sense (it’s not meant to be used as a medium of exchange for goods and services). Any independent digital currencies are going to struggle. I would actually hold BTC separate to this because it’s not really a currency - its speed (or lack thereof) effectively insulates national bodies from ever having to fear BTC as a replacement/competitor currency. None of the ‘global currency’ targeting coins are going to have a good time in developed (or at least, economically powerful) nations.

Well done. That’s actually my top fud at the moment.

It won’t be JPM coin, as other banks (particularly EU banks) will not allow a single competitor to effectively own the cross border transfers market.

But the point on privacy is real. Banks will not want all of their transfers known to every other competitor. And the buy side will want this even less.

In a perfect world, they would obviously prefer a coin that they control, though in practical terms, that’s easier said than done: if you have bank validators, you may have US or Chinese or European or whatever banks concerned that they could get outvoted by other regions clubbing together. So there is a sense in which a more open system benefits them.

The counter to the privacy point would be that you can have anonymised transactions with XRP - back in April, they confirmed that you could use blind addresses, so only the sender and receiver know who is involved in a transaction (if a new anonymised address is generated for each transaction, so can’t track an entity’s transfers).

It’s not perfect because there are a finite number of addresses, so you’d eventually run out of unique blind addresses to use), but that would take a long time.

So privacy isn’t (necessarily) an issue with XRP.

The bottom line though is that for now, there aren’t really any other coins that we are aware of that look likely to be the bridge. We could be wrong on XRP, but something is going to win and XRP is as good a bet as anything (it’s the only bet at present)

Their system of total compliance with each other to have economic sovereignty secured only extends as far as BTFOing non [them] people. But they, amongst themselves, ruthlessly hate and don't trust each other. No one central bank will ever "just go with some other banks solution" because it's basically a length measuring contest of who can print the most money.

If they were to use xbankster coin that would be synonymous with that bankster coins creators having put a gun to their head and said "use our coin bitch."

Ie.... this will NEVER happen for that reason. All the banks want to keep control of their little private ledger printing operation and have their safespace cake and eat it too.

Guess what can facilitate this, for ALL of the aforementioned parties involved?

XRP. It has to come from the private sector.

And if you really think the world global bankers won't want to use XRP because some random fags will be millionaires.... then you obviously don't know the banks and their dark ledgers literally hold not millions, not billions, not trillions, but quadrillions of dollars IF NOT MORE.

Option 1: xrp liquidity, make some fags rich, keep my CBDC nonsense going

Option 2: fuck up, no one gets rich, and my operation fails because I'm a retard.

Which one do you think the banks are going for?

No. Jpm coin is part of plan.

Pic related. This is old news, fudsters and newfags. Rather not old, but already schizo known/predicted.

The moment you start understanding XRP is more like an interface to every digital asset, you begin to understand its real value.

It is like comparing Amazon or EBay to a high end fashion store. The banks are like high end clothiers who only want to hold and custody what they feel comfortable holding, or what they have the capabilities to hold. Whereas the ebays or amazons give anyone the interface anything from no name sellers, china based sellers, high end, etc.

Interfacing with XRP gives banks the flexibility where they only need to interface with that asset, which will give them access to any asset in the world.

That is why the JPM comparisons are beyond ludicrous and totally miss the point

>JPMC is part of the plan.

I don’t care about ‘the plan’ to be honest. I care about what is going to be used as the global bridge ccy. I don’t think that will be JPMC, for the reasons I’ve already outlined.

To achieve karma neutrality, their beast system needs to leave some avenues open to the oppressed to be complicit in a sense.
XRP is that door.

Both really, different times then. Shit is very complicated. I mean technically BTC was made by white hats so it was the "free market sector" yet it was literally thought up by some based military bro. Once you enter twilight zone, where you know shit normies don't, things start to blur.

But they were always like this. People just see the nicely colored borders of things told to them by nice stories, sayings and other weak shit nonsense that puts labels on everything and boxes your mind up. Boxes up your thoughts.

Amazon, Facebook, Google, Twitter, these are all projects from the Intel agency that went "public" but the whole thing was rigged. And they got tax payer funding, especially Amazon with its shipping BS. So are these public utilities? Or private? See how shit is all kinds of complicated and fucked up full of lies, and deceitfulness? But in short anon. Buy XRP and hold it forever.
