Be a bum and move in with your girl but have a plan. Go to the local community college or trade school near your girl's place and look into an apprenticeship program. You will be paid well, all while learning a valuable trade. You can work your way up to management and have a good career. Whichever trade is your decision. I work as an electrician and I've worked with people who have served time.
