this is opposite to all available research that shows pretty unanimously that when you increase peoples' living conditions and QOL, their fertility rate goes down. Sure, but it's not an insurmountably scarce resource. The y-axis is a massively unptapped spatial resource. I think we'll see underground cities before we ever see space migration in meaningful numbers.

illiterate, that cannot happen ever. Demand goes up everytime supply does. EVERYONE can live on 10 dollars a day but then you got Americans that feel poor with 10 dollars an HOUR despite electronics and furniture costing the same, and rural lands being dirt cheap.

They NEED bigger houses in "better" cities, better and faster smartphones and pcs, better clothes, buying clothes more often, "lifestyle" appliances that don't even exist elsewhere like AC or dishwashers, cars or trucks, and the list goes on and on...

If they had proper standards, then they wouldn't live on one room or two room apartments beyond 600sqft (being generous), would live with parents until marriage, buy clothing every few years, buy low end smartphones, wash dishes by hand like God intended, use fans instead of AC, eat more carbs and less meat (half the meal should be bread, rice or potatoes and the rest must be lentils or beans 5 days of the week, maybe pasta), not have a car (maybe a bicycle but a cheap one unless you wanna splurge), 10mbps internet.

But nooo because they already got rich, all of them, and their upper class got increasingly fancier, they NEED to have the same. Gibs me datt. Unfortunately though, THIS WILL HAPPEN EVERYWHERE FOREVER.
