5% annually is barely anything you're only matching inflation and only during periods of stability. This is old news that will not sustain.

If not, I invite you to pray with me.
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name. Amen.

How good is Ray Dalio's All weather portfolio in reality?
I was planning to use it after I cash out some of my profits during the next bull run as a diversification and wealth protection solution.
But I am having a hard time understanding the effects of real and fake inflation on already inflated assets.
According to the shadow stats using the older calculation method we have 8-10% inflation a year which is impossible to keep up with without an extremely risky crypto tier investment.
http://www.shadowstats.com/alternate_data/inflation-charts

Does it mean all investment strategies have a negative ROI if you don't get more than 10% a year?
Or is the real inflation something that poor people see but doesn't affect millionaires that much?

Overly dependent on long term government bonds appreciating (which is unreasonable at this point in the cycle). The concept is solid, but long term government bonds are in a sort of bubble right now offering negative real returns if held to maturity.
