What happens if I simply don't pay debt?

Owe a couple hundred to a collection agency. I know exactly what it is for. I know you can mail them to get them confirm the debt is yours and all that shit but I've simply been ignoring them. They call about twice a day, just let my phone ring. What are the consequences of this? What are the chances they'll take me to court?

Idk but after nearly 14 years of them I can tell you that most debts are a scam and will only lower your good goy score if you do not pay them. Look up statute of limitations for your state.
