I don't know much about homebuilding, but looking at XHB's holdings, it seems fairly solid, at least the companies I know. I guess you are buying into the thesis that the work from home trend is going to lead to more people moving out of the big cities, which benefits homebuilders. Makes somewhat sense to me.
XLB, I guess is okay. I don't know why you think that sector in particular would outperform SPY. If you want something for a potential bear market, Consumer Staples are probably better.

If you want to invest (safely) and just forget about it for 20 years, why not just go 50%-50% QQQ and SPY/VOO? As I said, I can definitely see the argument for health care outperforming the broader market, and sort of understand the argument for construction (at least short term), but I'm not sure about the others.

Im my state they let you push off your jury duty once, so in the 3 times I've been contacted for jury duty I always changed it to the day before or after a federal holiday and then they have a number to call the night before to see if you have to go or not and i've never had to go.

i just got a doctors note because my doctor is a cool guy and just wrote what i told him to write. which was basically that i suffered from anxiety and depression and could never do that shit, and so now i never have to do jury duty for the rest of my life.

they really don't give a fuck as long as you have a doctor's note they'll let you off, if you have a good doctor just ask him to write one up for you look up the requirements for getting off forever and have him write that shit up for you. one and done.

There is a youtuber named Markiplier, and on one of his streams he was just asking if people wanted him to do one thing or another in chat (normal thing for streamers to do), a ton of kids google accounts were disabled because the system thought they were bots.

What happened is they lost their gmail, google photos, google docs, google drive. EVERYTHING, just for posting an emoji in his chat.

Everything in your life can be gone overnight if google wants that to happen. NO APPEAL PROCESS.

This was only ammended because he is a huge influence on the platform. This has definitely happened to others and they are just fucked.
