No, premine has nothing to do with it. Research what ODL is. There is constant buy pressure - primarily from ODL partners and Ripple buybacks. There are numerous fiat corridors built specifically for the XRPL. There are gold trusts running on the XRPL. The infrastructure is in place, and is ISO20022 compliant. Why build a whole new set of infrastructure, which could take another decade, when it already exists and is ready to act as an effective bridge currency as CBDC adoption takes place.
I agree there is definite upside to PMs, probably second to XRP (especially silver). I could see gold to ~$20K once gold standard is in place, and silver to ~$1K. But when you consider the value of XRP needed to back the world economy, it is obvious that XRP will be the best performer.

I still have a 14k stack that I will HODL because I still believe in it. The current monetary system of debt-based fiat currency is in its final days. Will the world go back to PM?
