This.

In lots of cases, more sources = better; but some data will always be "centralized" due to copyrights, patents, exclusivity rights, ...
The point of Chainlink is to be a trustless BRIDGE between data and blockchain.
Not to be responsible for the accuracy of the source.

>> No.23309425

>>23308843
Wrong. It is uploaded in a centralized way by a single source which is Associated Press. This is however, the group that tallys votes so it is fairly reliable and then that information can be used by the decentralized computer or dcomputer. This allows for election calls to be done trustlessly in a decentralized way so you and I can bet on the election over Ethereum instead of over web2.0 which is not secure, not global, and can be taken down by the US government.

Dude who the f cares. Literally you fucking plebs don't realize that this really doesn't matter at all. Here is why. The real bullishness happens when AP is directly a node operator and can monetize it's data DIRECTLY on the blockchain. AP is retarded allowing this little startup and many other startups to steal their future profits and letting them be the key to AP data on the blockchain. You see now that these very large traditional players do not understand what is coming and positioning themselves correctly yet. When this thinking shifts, that's when things get bullish and data providers actually join the chainlink network.

Since AP will run the chainlink oracle providing the Data you will need a chainlink token in order to access that data onchain. You can write a script so that you purchase the chainlink tokens you need using some swapping service as needed so that you yourself personally never need to hold any chainlink but that would be really fucking dumb since having any amount of link is about to make you insanely rich. Even the 40 LINK nufags whose IQ is barely double their stack size will soon have upwards of $40,000 by the end of the year. An amount they never imagined would ever have, but not an amount capable of changing a life and they will waste it like a retard and then kill themselves for missing out.

When the dust settles and Trump annihilated him they'll say he cheated.

Everyone's first impression of biden as the winner would already be set.
