GME is difficult because it's a meme stock, it doesn't relate well to TA because it's heavily news driven and so will spike outta nowhere. that said, the 200 hour MA is currently at 10.78 and 4xATR below it is 9.46, if it got there those would be good places to start a position but so far it's been holding above 12 nicely and seems to currently be forming a 3-bar play on the 1h time frame.

yeah but i mark off 4x and 12x the ATR as the points i mainly want to buy and sell at. the stronger the FA on a stock and the more it crabs the better in all honesty. you could also mark off 8x if you wanted (keltner channel does this). you could also do 3x/6x/9x/12x if you wanted. you could also do 16x like another anon does as his sell signal but obviously the more extreme you make the number the less frequently it's going to actually get there, i've felt like 12x is usually extremely accurate especially for a sell signal. i saved some anons a lot of money by calling the literal top of AAPL recently for example, pic related. back test it yourself and see.

i don't short the top because i don't want to try DCA'ing through a short since the downside is infinite, but theoretically you could. i stay long biased on solid stocks.
