Are any of you actually tracking Tesla's competitors?
Every time any company claims they are making a car of similar specs fanboys are immensely triggered because:
>Tesla is 10 years ahead of competition!
>anyone who claims he can make a similar car is a scammer!
While all the søyboys act like expert engineers they somehow can't accept that another car can charge pretty fast using higher voltage architecture or drive pretty fast thanks to adding a gearbox.

Is Tesla really that much ahead?

>Is Tesla really that much ahead?
yea lol. just look at the range of any """competing""" electric vehicle and immediately realize they're effectively a scam in comparison. to be fair i haven't checked for a while but every time i do its disgusting. any sort of unreleased marketing hype bullshit doesn't count as a comparison btw. im comparing to existing purchasable vehicles.

Tesla is at least 5 years ahead and still widening the gap. A Full self driving beta is coming eoy when most still think it's science fiction

tesla has some genuinely good tech and rediculous extrapolation based on what that tech will *someday* be able to do

The polestar 2 is currently purchasable, made by volvo and lags behind the tesla slightly in numbers but gets similar review scores consistently, probably because they don't have the bodypanel alignment of a 2002 dodge neon that's been in 3 accidents

>>23245165
It's confirmed that they're at least working on self-driving car software since around 2018 – apple hasn't announced anything yet (they never do until like 2 weeks before release), if they're working on a car it's not coming out in fucking january though, apple isn't going to release a car after only 2 years of working on one though, it took them like 3 years to put out the first ipad

Lol yeah Tesla people are stupid. Like just make a regular car with batteries instead of a motors lol how hard can it even be?

Like that one truck company made a better truck. Yeah they fuckin lied about almost every detail and they had to roll it down a hull to pretend like to was a working prototype but I’m sure all that was just minor details and they could do a working one like any day.

Tesla's range and numbers are still at the top if you get the high end ones – when the model S just came out they were absolutely like 5-6 years ahead of any other electric car available at the time, but other manufacturers are catching up fast and

"Full self driving beta"
google, tesla, uber, apple, and a couple legacy car companies have been doing "full self driving" in tests, sometimes on public roads, for years now, and there's no way that the "beta" is going to be an open beta

this is another example of how elon builds hype by making normies think he's doing more than he actually is
