No, select two or three indicators to help you make decisions. On index, and only index (and maybe some god stocks like Amazon and Apple), you can get away with just using Heiken Ashi candles. Buy day after first green candle, sell after first red one. This is as basic as it gets. It's not the best you can manage with TA but it's not terrible. I strongly discourage attempting to play both sides in current market. Until something changes the bullish bias is severe and every drop that looks like a reversal turns out to be a few day or maybe a week then V reversal straight to bull. Do TQQQ and SPXL, sit in cash between trades instead of trying to play inverse.

I made the stupid mistake of selling a bunch of puts to try to lessen my entry cost and therefore limit losses in the event of non approval, and the thing has gone up over 20% since then.

Just fucking buy, wait until after Fall, then you can sell OTM covered calls when things stabilize a little and you don't have to worry about cucking yourself out of a moon if you REALLY want to lower your entry fee that much. But time has proven to me that every month you wait is another 10-30% you're going to pay for your entry fee.

Absolute worst comes to worst is that they get denied this Fall and resubmit for a proposal, in which case you'll have a month or two to sell some covered calls to recoup costs. Same thing happened this August.

-in tradingview do a search in the indicators for ichimoku cloud
-apply to chart
-this indicator has a whole bunch of crap involved with it that you can use if you like but I find it... messy
-go in to setting for the indicator and hide everything except the conversion line and the baseline
-buy day after conversion line crosses above baseline
-sell day after conversion line crosses below baseline
