you're supposed to enjoy the journey, the destination is you bored, old, alone, teeth falling out and colostomy leaking, followed shortly thereafter by death.

my life is already going pretty well- i'm in school, i've got a job i like, i have friends and family who care about me and who i have pretty good relationships with, although i am quite lonely since COVID came to town. I have goals and am working toward them, both personal, interpersonal and societal.

If I had several million dollars, my life might be easier and a little more free from anxiety and want, and I'd be able to do more cool stuff for myself and for others, but it wouldn't fundamentally change.

It would be neat to have a boat, though. And to own my own house. And to be able to buy things without worrying about their impact on my future, and to not have to worry about emergencies.

But overall? My investments are just an add-on to my life, not a golden ticket to freedom.

Someone like you with several million dollars is a scary proposition. You are living your life on normie rails and admitting you like it. You are the rat in the maze and say “this is fine.”

If you had two million dollars it would be like taking the rat out of the maze and dropping it outside to freedom.

You really need to re-evaluate everything you think you know about life/money/etc. Giving someone like you that kind of money would literally ruin your life, you are obviously not prepared to use it properly, and instead you will get used by it, and others.

As fucked up as it is, I’ve come to realize the system is designed the way it is because the average tard is a happy serf.
