Because that's the number that kept popping into my head and was later corroborated by too many external projections from outside sources. It might not hit the exact dollaridoo amount but BTC won't stop at 100k, that I am certain of. The 23k eth is just an extrapolation from the ratio between eth and btc in 2017, so this number is slightly more elastic. Eth might surprise everyone and I have a feeling the same wall street creeps that pumped bitcoin in '17 so they could dump it hard on retail dumb money via their newly introduced bitcoin futures will repeat the success with eth at the top in the current cycle.
