G/S ratio = gold price divided by silver price. If for example gold was $1000 and silver was $10, the ratio would be 1:100 because you would need 100 ounces of silver to exchange them for gold. When the ratio is wide, silver is cheap relative to gold and when the ratio is narrow you can get more gold with your silver

I think it may have to do with the end of the exploration season, and also a lot of investors are looking for the ultra insane high grade drill results, like what Skeena Resources and Ascot have been getting recently. Guys buying into projects in the Golden Triangle district have expectations sometimes way outside the box and so they sell out after seeing results that dont match that, when really the results were fantastic. Uhhh, not really no. PMs are for AFTER things possibly get back to some semblance of normal. Right now we use fiat money and that is failing, it has failed through history, and it looks like it'll fail soon. When it fails, fiat money becomes useless, and that's what the food/ammo/supplies are for. They are good for living if shit gets bad, can be used for bartering and not overpaying.

The hope is that after society recovers on some level, PMs can be used to recover the wealth I worked to acquire. Even if shit doesn't hit the fan and leafbucks just go fucking all over the place for a while (all goes useless, governement goes full socialist with credit system, etc) eventually the hope is that PMs could be used to later to do stuff. Even with all that, worst case I could run from leafshit land and go somewhere else and guess what... PMs still have value in other countries.

After all that, PMs hold their value and usually gain value as time goes on, so converting my savings into PM doesn't equal a loss in wealth, it just converts it from one type of thing (fiat currency) to another type of thing (universally recognized and historically robust gold/silver).

(copied reply because people might not be in old thread I was working late)

For that you can just compare gold charts to silver charts. Gold has been steadily climbing most of the time while silver went down low and crabbed after 2008&2011. Silver only started climbing again when Buffett bought a bunch of it. I'd say that silver is undervalued and gold is a bit overvalued because of fear in the markets (although once the economy collapses gold cannot be overvalued of course). Gold and silver will both climb regardless because the market is fragile as fuck and we're on the verge of a deleveraging

A good comparison could be the extraction cost desu.
Extraction cost of 1oz gold : $600
Extraction cost of 1oz silver : $12
So imho it's a bit of both : silver is undervalued, but gold is overvalued in this regard. That said, extraction cost is currently very low because oil is in the gutter, but it surely wont last indefinitely. Also, i expect the jews will use their new found weapon into full force : the ecofascism, in the years to come.
They already are in EU, as usual with the kikes it's a good idea (saving the planet) no one can be against (you'd be a monster to want to destroy the planet, right?), transformed into a coercitive and political tool to enforce everything and anything they want to forward their agenda, especially Agenda 2030. Since citizens have needs, and that fulfilling their needs destroy the planet, thus citizens are the natural ennemies. It's communism all over again, but in a more perverse fashion and rhetoric.

So saving the planet is now a mean to force people into delimited areas (cities), forbidding them to live where they want (natural reservations, protected parks) or even simply to move around (forbid diesel cars, cars made before year 20xx), implementing a shitload of taxes (ecotaxe, carbon tax,...), unabling REAL progress (technical innovation, in opposition of their novlangue progress who is degeneracy), and finally destroy industries via over regulation. And the mining industry being both a vector for innovation and being very polluting, as well as a way for ppl like us to free from fiat currencies shakles and reach true wealth, i've a strong vibe the ecomrades will soon attack this sector like never before.

Happening confirmed! Here we go again! Recovery from Trump tweet is here. Have a Falklands coin and the adorable Mew Pudding. Just sorted my Copper into some boxes because loose bags on the floor was pissing me off. I must find somewhere to actually store this shit. Hopefully more of my junk I've ordered will turn up today. I'm waiting on more 5 Lire's (grammar with this? Idk) and another Florin, with 2 Victorian pennies, shilling, pesos, more Burger constitutional, it's gonna be nice when all this gets here. And a bigger coin box to go with my other one.

Shits getting good. I'll have to do a big pic of stuff once I've sorted it all very nicely. At some point I need to tidy my safe up as well. Maybe get a box for the rounds in my safe, too. Is this autism? Obsession? Retardation? I don't even know or care anymore.

I dunno, seems like a good question but the whole scam is the fact that algos trading paper/digital derivatives set the price for physical, it's a much more efficient swindle so I don't see why they would sell scarce physical cheap just to lose that power and have someone else buy and hoard it, guaranteeing a supply crunch in the future.

Absolutely none. I am basing this on the fact that the holiday season is the time when there is most movement in the economy, as families buy gifts for eachother, and buissnesses want to settle their account books for the year. We haven't had a holiday season under occupation yet, as the occupation only started in March, so we just need to wait for the market to adjust, and watch the effects ripple out to the rest of the economy.

With gold and silver being physically commodities instead of fiat, there will be changes in that, its just a question of how big those changes will be. We may see some movement before Christmas, especially after the election, but the vast majority won't be until January.

I tend to agree for the most part, BUT governments generally hate competition. There's a reason why they're preparing to impose a negative interest rate on the dollar to coincide with their FedCoin bullshit.

Of course, stackers aren't currently a threat to the financial system, but there is a reason why you're not allowed to privately mint a 371.25 grain silver coin and stamp the word "dollar" on it. There's a reason why they push the burglary meme, there's a reason why governments impose the $10,000 reporting rule at international borders, there's a reason why they put phony stupid face values on PM coins so they can't circulate and compete with circulating notes and coins.

Confiscation is unlikely but I very much do expect future governments facing currency instability and financial problems generally to increase taxes on PM sales. They can't stop you owning them, but they can make it annoying and difficult to legally buy and sell, sort of like with guns now.

If the fed couldn't bail out banks it really wouldn't matter. The value of money market mutual funds would probably go down >50% and every banking institution in the US would fail. Even treasury bills would be worthless because the amount of cash in the economy would be decreasing every day. There isn't a fractional depository institution in the US that would survive with current reserves, including credit unions.

What would really happen today if we have (domestic) bank runs would be a "crack up boom" into brokerage accounts. There is currently no reserve requirement for US banks. As long as the Fed is willing sacrifice the dollar and foreigners don't dump US assets before Americans get scared of the dollar, the fed would allow the banks to force people to accept withdrawals as cashiers checks that they would take to their brokerage and buy some kind of assets with. Most people don't actually want physical currency and even if they demanded it I guarantee the fed would allow them to require you accept a cashiers check. This would mean that the banks would be able to have 0 deposits with trillions of dollars of loans outstanding without being insolvent.

Maybe raise the bar and buy some BU mercury dimes to turn into iridescent FWTDHW tokens for jobs particularly well done.

The box contains a set with coins of different size. I meant, just buy the standard one of 8gr. https://www.bullionbypost.eu/gold-coins/full-sovereign-gold-coin/bullion-gold-sovereign/

not really... unless you personally want to hold and keep the 2020 coins for some reason Id just buy random year sovereigns for cheaper.

99% of the time the cheapest gold/silver per toz is the best thing to get. Sovereigns often are the cheapest gold you can get per oz though, shop around, deals to be had

anon, shutting down the world economy over a slightly more contagious flu is not normal.

Stocks running a bull market despite everything being shut down is not normal.

volatility without cause is not normal.

All these things are the New Normal ™

also pelosi and any talking head saying anything is not really a stimlus either, new normal it is.

LOL'd at pelosi "Science, science, science!"

These fuckers keep using it as a verb and abusing it... the science says they need to be hung for treason.

You are speaking as if things just happen randomly, that there is no understanding for why there is a bull market.
There are no other choices - yields on bonds are in the gutter - that is normally where money is parked - this has forced money to go into the stock market, as there is no better option
The Fed has announced really pushing for 2% / letting inflation run hot, making bonds even less attractive
Consumers are not spending their money on what they would normally - savings is increasing. What do people do when they have more spare cash? They invest in the stock market.
There are no other alternatives to grow wealth right now
When there are no other choices, and money is being printed in the trillions, it's going to of course lead to a stock market bull run

Everything has a cause. Everything has a catalyst. Things don't happen randomly.

Furthermore, because of the $$$ printing (and economic shutdown), the dollar nosedived, which made it not a safe-haven either - if you can't hold dollars, can't hold bonds, what do you buy?
>inb4 all-in precious metals
Not every normie thinks the way we do - you have to think about institutions & big money, billion $ funds - what is their best option? Stocks.

absolutely things dont happen randomly anon, that was never my point, I am aware of and 100% agree with the points you made, its just that they leave some things out that are major drivers. More important drivers even.

You are stuck in a rational cause and effect paradigm, which is true for a lot of things.

What is taking over right now is an IRational cause and effect paradigm where the human emotional element is more important then the actual fundamentals. Most people didnt put their cash into stocks... they either left it in banks, spent it frivolously, or bought things like guns/ammo/food/prep stuff. Very few had PM's on the list, and very few will even if pms surge.

The supply lines are getting more and more strained, as is the political situation. As it progresses instead of rational use less/produce more reactions, you will see more irrational destroy/devalue/defame actions that make everything worse.

oh for sure the year doesnt affect price, just that particular set has a mark up does it not?

>>23127749
do the math and if the mark up for buying the 2020 set of a double, a full, a half, and a quarter sovereign as opposed to random year versions of the same coins is worth it to you then go for it.

Maples are designed with that in mind, it is their security feature. If it isnt milk spotted and tarnished, its probably a fake maple.
