If you're losing money 'by a thousand cuts' it means your win rate is too low and you should focus on increasing winrate rather than RR. If instead you are doomping hard, your RR is wrong and should be improved. Identify your flaw and work on it.
By simply figuring out that you keep losing because you're seeing things that aren't there due to wishful thinking, you might go from 12 trades a day with a 15% winrate, to 5 trades a day with a 60% winrate. There's always witholding, the question is whether or not you get it reimbursed. In a tfsa, you do NOT get reimbursed, in RRSP or non-registered, you do.
Basically it means don't do dividends in a TFSA, but then again you should never do dividends at all anyway. As for the rest, TFSA is not supposed to be used for trading and the CRA can decide what is and is not trading at their own discretion and slap you with a tax. In practice, unless you're making hundreds of k's, they won't bother you though.

If your making over 150k Rrsp, if under TSFA. TSFA is better and easier to take out if needed, Rrsp gives you a tax write off. Save the write off for when it counts.
