You said it yourself anon, the #2 exchange goes down so what happens to all the crypto that the exchange has to keep on itself for the purpose of buying/selling? Especially if the owner of said exchange is a scammer who owns even more of that crypto than anyone else?

You are effectively removing a large portion of crypto and a large portion of traders, so a lot of crypto is going to be locked away now - reducing supply. In addition it scares a lot of normies away from crypto because they are worried about being scammed.

If you cannot see why a lower supply would mean a price increase then you deserve to be poor. Decreasing supply is the entire reason Bitcoin is increasing in price. This is effectively a halving event occuring via an exchange collapsing.
