Cause the fees are paid in a different currency. And you pay fees before the transaction to get it to go through. Not after.

you need to pay gas to interact with the smart contracts. You cant just deduct some of what you are trading because you would need to convert that to ETH and you would have to pay gas to convert it.

yes. check etherscan gas prices. enable custom gas and nonce thru metamask first. always apply max gwei +1 to guarantee fast txn speed.

Yes :( sorry. Hope the amount you’re trading pays off. Also remember to adjust the gas fee where it says edit, you need to look up how much gwei it currently costs, if not your transaction will be stuck there forever. At this moment it is 95 gwei which is about $7 or less that you would need to send in Ethereum to your metamask. It might be overwhelming at first especially if you’ve only traded on centralized exchanges, but you’ll get the hang of it. Let me know if you have any other questions
