I'm about to pour some more into KO, mostly because I'm a huge supporter of Bang's root beer. Apparently, Coca Cola's 1919 IPO offered at $40 a share. After splits, a single share at the IPO would have turned into 9,216 shares today, worth $542,361.

Annual dividend payouts off that original share would total $14,745.

Moral of the story: Buy a great sip and hold for 100+ years.
