With Stani, Emin, Sergey, and Andre all saying how important they’ll be in the future, I can’t help but feeling like I’m missing something. Kitties, and Tamagotchi, and shitty digital art are just the beginning, right? I can understand an nft proving ownership of a rare in game asset like a sword or a uniform, but it’s hard to imagine that same functionality carrying over to the real world. Am I wrong? What are the other big use cases?

Think about the following
Would you tokenize your lambo or your mansion on a permissionless blockchain to use it as collateral?

I don’t know. Maybe? If a reliable platform were available to do so. Is that the big idea?

It's retarded. Idiots really think we'll be able to tag every fucking time some shitty drawing is posted on the internet, moronic.

And you would do that on a smart contract without a responsible entity you could sue, if it gets hacked, zero dayed, exit scammed, closed, spammed...? Think long and hard about the implications of total trustless decentralization and your hard earned material assets

I think this is too bearish. Even the rare in-game item usecase could be huge, imo. Let me find something.

I don't use crypto because there is no sipport number to call

Ok, so you’re a skeptic too. I was hoping to find someone to make the bullish case in here.

You can role out your sales script, smart money, old money, even middle class money wouldn't think a second about it.

> I was born in 1994 in Russia and moved to Canada in 2000, where I went to school. I happily played World of Warcraft during 2007-2010, but one day Blizzard removed the damage component from my beloved warlock's Siphon Life spell. I cried myself to sleep, and on that day I realized what horrors centralized services can bring. I soon decided to quit.
Vitalik literally creates ethereum after losing an in-game asset.
