it is, you still need your xdai (or other tokens) to be on xdai's network to buy HNY on Honeyswap
there is no bridge for ETH since it's not an ERC20, there is a bridge for WETH (which is a legit wrapped eth erc20 used by uniswap) tho and many other assets, there's a list here:
