It is. It is also reliable. If you want something reliable but less of a 'mom car', buy a Mazda 3 or if you need more space, a Mazda 6 or CX-5.

Fairly cheap to maintain, make sure all oil changes have been made on time. If you do the basics, it’ll treat you right.

Nah, it's pretty cheap. Dunno if it's cheaper than the RAV though, you'll have to check that for yourself. It's a nicer car and has better driving dynamics though, so either way it's worth it (imo).
