Buy low on Nikola. They'll bounce back. They're in talks with some bigger companies to work on hydrogen refueling stations. People are panic selling. Do not be a sheep. Their stock will rise again you just need to wait out the storm as usual. It just got a new chairman who is a former GM employee so they really like that new guy so will continue to work with Nikola since their own guy is righting the ship now. Plus BP is working on making some hydrogen refueling stations with them. Things are going to go up for Nikola in the future. EV is the future and they'll be a major player in it. Tesla, Nikola, Nio, and Li Auto are the 4 EV companies you should be keeping your eye on. 2 for USA market, 2 for the massive Chinese market. If you're a long term investor I highly recommend getting into at least 2 if not all 4 of these EV companies. They'll explode within the next few years.

Sorry i didnt elaborate. the SPACs acquiring XL fleet and Chargepoint have the tickers PIC and SBE (Pivotal Investment Corp and Switchback Energy are their full names i believe). When the acquisition is fully complete with Chargepoint and XL fleet, the tickers of PIC and SBE will change to CP and XL, much more sexy tickers especially XL which should attract a lot of chuds.

So I've been buying up some cheap ass SBE and PIC shares

let me put it this way. there is a pool of 60 M widgets that are selling for $5 each. 70 M of those widgets have been borrowed and sold at $5 in the hope that the borrower can repurchase them later for cheaper to return. they are paying 50% APY to borrow these widgets btw. What happens if the price of the widgets spikes to $8? how can the sellers return 70 M worth of 60 M widgets?
it becomes a simple math problem

ultimately you need a positive catalyst to cause the spike. if widgets go to $0 it doesn't matter what the short interest is. to give a real world example: no short squeeze happened on Bear Stearns or Lehman Brothers in 2008

Barring RC gives a tender offer tomorrow, the only likely catalysts are: new console release in November or holiday sales of new consoles in December. hence why I hold Jan calls. November is the high risk/high reward play.
