My doctor will prescribe me Amphetamines for my ADHD if my ECG comes back to normal. He also offered me to try Ritalin after I asked him for alternatives.

I've tried both.
Ritalin is shit, once you start taking it for weeks it feels almost as ineffective as caffeine pills.
Amphetamine is great, get dextroamphetamine/Vyvanse instead of Adderall if you can. Adderall has trash levoamphetamine in it.

My advice is that most cases attention deficit disorder are the result of compulsive browsing of porn and forms of social media, youtube, netflix, video games, etc...

Do nofap, sell your console, stop laying in bed unless you plan to sleep and go somewhere out of the house if you need to study.

It will take few weeks to adjust but you won't have to be reliant on a drug to be a functional human.

In my case, my "ADHD" is a coping mechanism for a much deeper underlying anxiety disorder. I can stave off the anxiety by constantly subjecting myself to new stimulus. Makes it nearly impossible to focus on stuff for long periods of time, and the more I care about that thing, the more impossible it becomes because the anxiety responds to import.

It's the same for everyone anon, it's an avoidance mechanism. It's the reason fatties eat themselves to death or tox do heroin and alcohol.
The thing is that the anxiety only comes when you realize you procrastinated in the first place by consuming arousing content (psychologically speaking) and now it's too late to do things properly.
From this point you will either do it in panic mode which will be very tiring and painful, or you give up and medicate yourself with constant escapism to divert your mind from thoughts of anxiety, guilt and shame.
I've been through the cycle more times I can count.

If you adjust again to a healthy baseline only then you will be able to do things in due time, you will be successful at them and it will give you energy and good feelings to do it again, positive reinforcement is all about momentum
