they didn't block the attempt.. with "cant initiate conversion, price too different."
the conversion was initiated like i said. and they had to cancel it after the fact.

if you know coinbase app, you know it will stop the conversion BEFORE if it is too much difference.
on this 1. they let it go through and canceled it AFTER it was initiated. which regardless of price etc.
they have to honor, cause it's in their own policy.

it is not "solved/closed".

i got a "success" pop up, not a failure pop up.
and i showed my boss my 7795 and we both "haha! nice!" cause he talks about trading boeing stocks (he is old rich jew boomer that knows markets) he tells me whenever he makes good trades "i sold my boeing stock made 35k!" etc. type stories. i tell him about cryptos he tells me about stocks.
he's been a trader all his life. runs 2 printing press facilities.
anways.. i show my boss the trade, cause we like to talk about that type of shit, and i went back to work, and check link price again maybe 10 minutes later and it was removed.
also the conversion is timestamped there. enough to make a log that it happened.

normally if cb cant do the trade, it will tell you with a pop up, and the conversion doesnt happen.. no timestamps of it, nothing. it just don't happen.
which is cool with me. i dont mind those.

this 1.. it had numbers, logs, timestamps, everything like a crypto to crypto conversion, and a "you have successfully converted" type pop up.
and coinbase says themselves. "they canceled the conversion"

they told me theyre not closing the email, and its still open.
so that is a good sign.

its a display bug in the app, not going to win a lawsuit with that kek. after doing a conversion you immediately get an email of success or failure. if op didnt get a successful conversion email and only the failure it didnt occur as a trade on their system. the point is the trade never occurred so the conversion request could be cancelled.
