I think a full-scale civil war is super unlikely. I wouldn't be surprised if there are skirmishes between right wing and left wing militias. Most people don't have permanent effects but a non-insignificant number of people do. Sorry, I didn't intend to make it sound like this would happen to most people, but re-reading that post I can see how it could be interpreted that way. Crypto dipped today because the Dollar (DXY) went up massively today. Crypto is an asset that is invested against the dollar so when the USD increases crypto usually falls. And DXY rose sharply because of new virus cases in Europe which caused their currency to plummet against the USD.
