no but for real. I think GME is just one opportunity of man. Algos that target and are short companies with high short interest and shitty financials (both obviously signs of bankruptcy) seem to be the norm. The problem is that all of those factors are due to covid lockdowns, and the algos can't account for the fact that the government just printed money to save all their asses. But the algos don't understand that. Neither did retail shorts (pic related as I was searching for DDS posts) really expect that the government would keep these companies alive.

I really think DDS is the next play (but much riskier) after the no-brainer GME. Unlike other retail, they own much of their locations so their costs are much better, and their EPS was -0.37 last quarterly which is pretty good considering covid.

I just need GME to squeeze before November, this retail picks are going to spike with Christmas.

I looked at it briefly though and it seems safer than BBBY. The almost neutral EPS the latest quarterly being a big indicator. Book value according to Yahoo is apparently almost double its stock price, so I'm guessing their real estate assets keeps them safe from actually going bankrupt.
