I haven't done a lot of research but I can tell IOTA is really important. Think about it - Brad Garlinghouse has called XRP the internet of value. IOTA is the internet of things. What is the internet? It's the transfer of information. So IOTA will be to "things" what XRP is to value and the internet is to information.

At this point I think it's wise to have a bag of XRP XLM ALGO and IOTA. Probably XDC too but thats the one I know the least about.
