So I’ve been trading nearly a month now. Finally convinced my wife to let me invest our savings as we save for a house (around 11k). I took about $6,000 and went all in on AAPL after their stock split and became cheap enough to stack. Not even 3 days later and I’m down $1000. I quickly pull out and decide to invest in a safer mainstream company. That fucking company was MSFT on the advice of a few anons. I am down around $1300 again. My question is there any legal recourse I can take against MSFT for not warning shareholders of a massive dip. When AAPL shit the bed I had atleast 4 different law firms email me about a class action against AAPL. I signed up but all I keep getting are ads for stock market related tax prep. It's zero sum at this point, right? If I close the calls it'll be my credit per call and the lost upside. If I keep them open it's just the lost upside. People often fomo into options, like on Friday a lot of people predicted a dump this week due to what was happening mid day. So they may have gotten a $27 sqqq call, but their breakeven was $29 because it was priced at $2+ at the time. I wanted to buy $27 strikes too, but decided to set an order limit at $26.5 for $1.6.
By the end of the day I had even more ITM $26.5 strikes for $1.6 for a breakeven of $27.10.

Today people are sweating because they need to be at $29 to break even and SQQQ is currently at $28.1, but I'm a bit more chill because I'm already ITM at $27.10.

You wouldn't fomo into a stock so why fomo into an option, which is already way more risky? That being said I should have done a debit spread which is even less risky, but robinhood wasn't letting me do them because I just switched to it to do free option trades, and some kid killed himself trading options so the approval process is harder now.

The engine performs fine, there are plenty of "realistic" graphics games made with Unity, the challenge right now is there is a lot of restructuring of components and image within the company. Plenty of dev roadmaps are sort of unfinished and lead to features that are already being talked about deprecating. So for a lot of the userbase it's challenging to understand what are the best ways to use the tools and libraries that the Unity engineers are making.

Couple that with only a few methods of generating revenue, it is tough to consider this a company poised for strong growth in the short term. It's sort of a mess right now, but if they hire some C level poeple with a clear vision and work towards that then maybe it'd be worth it long term. But any pop at the outset will be based on speculation and hype more so than real valuation.
