I wouldnt assume passive income is coming until it actually gets proposed. I wouldn't rule it out, but they have to make sure it still encourages people to govern, while not making it unappealing to liquidity providers. Big profits to one group makes it tough to sustain the lifeblood which is liquidity providers who seem to be a fickle bunch without much loyalty.

The worst thing that could happen to this token is a bunch of bad proposals that honestly end up making the platform worse at carrying out its original function. That or competitive exchanges buying up a large enough supply to lead it astray.
