I've done it by putting an order to sell an option at way above the price that's being quoted. I would set the order every night so it was in place when the market opens, these sometimes get filled but only for a few contracts. Other times I think it's spoofing. I've seen the chart spike way above where I was selling an option and the order never gets filled.
