Why do you guys think everyone is playing 5 levels of deception
yeah I hold a small % of my portfolio in XRP
but I still want it to make me money
XRP has been at this price before most people here ever heard of crypto

I wish, I lost 12 grand buying this shit at $2. I'm selling it now though, don't want to hold this pile of shit down to 10 cents or lower. I'm already financially fucked.

Why wouldn't you at-least hold it until a few days before the snapshot when the price will probably spike up a bit before dumping again after said snapshot.

well, maybe because he was around long enough to see how such a snapshot airdrop does exactly fuck all for the price and then it gets abandoned altogether - look up ALVOR

Fair, but if the guy has any chance of breaking even, it'd be in December. XLR has at least been relatively stable most of the year. I can't see it being much lower than what it is now.

>> No.22473619

>>22473602
not happening, not in december, not in a decade. For any sort of solid price action Cripple and all they "gifted" or given up XRP to over the years would have to stop dumping and that's not gonna happen for a long long LONG time

hahaha I know that, but the weird memes are fun, honestly. I hold a bag of 100 xrp just in case it ever does anything. I didn't even have to pay for it, so I'm not out anything. The schizo threads really are something to behold.

I actually think this is a smart play as long as it's less than 2% of a crypto portfolio

Here’s a serious question for someone more mathematically inclined than me. Is it possible to determine what the price would be without dumping? (i.e. is there a way to model based on volumes traded vs the monthly dumping just how much the dumping is suppressing the price?)

Let’s just say I would be somewhat surprised if any such model showed that the free market (not manipulated) price is anywhere near $2k, but where actually is it... $0.50, $1, $10, $50, ...?

>> No.22476169

>>22475816
Its around $8k, hence the price glitches

Thanks appreciate the response and the rationale. Please don’t take it the wrong way if you see me posting this question a few more times to get a spread of answers - I’ve got a decent stack of XRP and believe it’ll moon, but $8k is too good a thing to happen to me.

Think about it. Right now you are being tested by God himself. 3+ anti-xrp threads at all time. People constantly calling holders schizo. Everyone shitting on xrp and saying it will never go beyond 30 cents again. Will you succumb to the overwhelming FUD and sell your stack, or will you persevere through the worst of times and earn you well-deserved reward?

I don’t actually think China is the concern (certainly as far as XRP is concerned). No major financial institution is going to use BTC or anything that China comes up with themselves. I think the race is to get XRP in use by banks before the EU tries to push out their own version To their banks.

Luckily, the Euro banks are all very bureaucratic and slow and getting anything passed in the EU is like herding cats, so as long as the US does it in the near future, whatever the anointed coin is (XRP) should have plenty of time to claim the market

Why waste time on trying to convince.
BTC is a slow old Piece of shit.
ETH is a pow 2bit finance whore with no prospect of scaling high fees.
