I suppose there is incredibly low demand for japanese goods in the UK and it makes sense.

Wagyu may get cheaper but there is not much else. Maybe Japanese whiskey but then the UK has scotch already.
British appetite for Japanese goods is low while Japanese demand for british goods is probably similar.
