You're still better off with 9mm as that's the most common self defense caliber, but just bare in mind that you missed the availability peak back in fucking February. At this point, just buy anything you can fucking find that goes bang.

Assuming availability (BIG fucking assumption), my top entry level handguns would be either a Taurus G2C, Keltec PF9, or a Glock of one variety or another if you have the spare cash (they're pretty much all good, but also expensive). The mentioned Taurus and Keltec guns are both 9mm concealed handguns, which is basically what you want during a period of civil unrest, the ability to defend yourself in a pinch when some nigger thinks you're an easy mark. Bear in mind that any handgun marketed as a "concealed carry" type pistol is going to have a short (relative to other pistols) barrel. The shorter the barrel, the more proficient a shooter you have to be to aim well with it. That said, Taurus G2C and Keltec PF9 are cheap, good quality for what you're paying, and small enough to be easy to conceal. The main issue you would have is developing the skills to shoot them well, because buying ammo is pretty fucking expensive because of that whole supply and demand thing right now. Personally though, I value the ability to ensure you have a firearm on you over necessarily being able to land shots at 30 yards (which is easier to achieve with longer barreled pistols, but again, you give up easy concealability, it's just a catch 22), so I lean towards concealment over accuracy in my personal formula of desirability. Your mileage may vary.

I glossed over the Glock brand because I don't have one yet, I'm eventually going to get a Glock 17 Gen 5 but I can't justify the price right now (they're expensive), and it's also not as easily concealed. I don't really recommend a newgunz open carry.

All the firearms I just mentioned come in 9mm. You want to buy FMJ rounds for practice (because they're cheap), and you want hollow point (sometimes marketed as "defense rounds") for self defense, because they do more damage to the fleshy target they hit, and they don't tend to penetrate as easily through walls, which makes it easier to control who you're unleashing hell on.

All that said, seriously, it's almost impossible to find a decent selection of firearms these days because of the covid scare and the nigger riots everywhere. In absolute honesty, if I were buying right now, here is what I'd do;
>Go to a local firearms dealer, see if they have absolutely fucking anything on the shelves
>If you see something you like, whip out your phone and go to an online ammunition bulk buy place (there's tons of them, bulkammo.com is one to get you started with but look around), and also talk to the dealer, see if that firearm actually has ammo you can buy then and there
>If so, just fucking buy it
>If you can't buy ammo, the gun's a worthless club; move onto a different caliber firearm and try that one
I know this sounds like I'm basically telling you to impulse buy, but you have to understand just how late in the game you are for buying firearms and ammunition. I didn't start stocking up till two months ago, and that was fucking hard, and I still can't get some of the guns I actually want. At the end of the day, as long as you can readily carry it, it goes bang, and you can find the bits of lead to put inside it to *make* it go bang, just go with it. Troubling times are ahead, and you'll be glad you can defend yourself if you need to.

I can't speak to that gun in particular but in general Russian firearms can handle steel jacketed rounds better than American firearms, because the steel wears out most barrels quicker, but Russia still uses steel jacketed shit a lot, so they design their barrels to handle them better. This is very relevant, because steel jacketed rounds is some of the cheapest ammunition you can find, and it'll be easier to find because most people don't want tons of it unless they're a nogunz who doesn't know better, or is just that desperate for ammo. As for that specific firearm, look up some online reviews and video demonstrations of it in action.
