Alright boys, this 33 year old boomer that's also a Robinzoomer got shaken the fuck out today. I could have sold last week for about a 10% profit, but instead ended up with about 0.5%. The signs were there, and still are - DIX hitting almost nothing, VIX spiking, DXY rallying.

I've been in the market since mid-June with a relatively conservative portfolio, but still way overweight in tech. I held around 80% tech (QQQ, SOXX, MSFT, etc) 10% MA and V, and the last 10% in gold and silver miner ETFs.

This $35k is a substantial amount of my net worth with $10k in savings as an emergency fund. My inner boomer says to only use large index ETFs next time, and at least I didn't buy TSLA and AAPL at the top. Maybe I should open a Roth IRA and throw $6k of this into VOO and then reassess after the elections.
