/biz/ used to be the fastest community in crypto. Always heard about the newest trends and shitcoins from here. Reddit got a sniff of the goods only after 2 weeks.

/biz/ in 2020 has been a total boomerland. r/ethfinance has been quicker on everything this year. Like, I am still seeing anons here not understanding yield farming. Every relevant new coin this altseason was found first by r/ethfinance, while /biz/ only provided the shitvaluelife.finance scams.

/biz/ is fucking retarded. I don't think this place was ever particularly bright, but every now and then you'll find some interesting conversation with substance. That's becoming more and more rare right now. Everyone here thinks a project is a scam if the price is below ATH, and everyone thinks a project is legitimate based solely on how many digits it's token's price rose in the last 24 hours.
This place is soul-suckingly stupid, full of ape-brained ghouls that don't know and don't care about the difference between a scam and something that is new and innovative.

/biz/ is flooded by scammers whenever there is a bull market going on. There are still good threads, they just tend to get slided. I recently learned about ARC from here, for example. The thread had like 20 replies before it was archived.

80% of the altcoins shilled by anons and bought by anons in the last are done on Uniswap. A protocol which relies on yield farming. Anons trading there are paying the yield farmers in the Uniswap liquidity pools fees.
/biz/ is not neglecting yield farming, /biz/ has become dependent on yield farming

sustainable if and only if nobody withdraw staked wrapped ETH
sustainable if and only if new fresh meat enter
it's obviously a chair game whatever you do
even if solidity contract has no backdoor, it's a zero sum game, so if you consider the whole system, globally, the output is ALWAYS smaller because you always lose a bit in tx fees, so the only winners are:
-ETH miners
-bots with high liquidity playing around (arbitrage etc.)
everybody else is just food for sharks
