I've just been playing swings, I've done a 100x in the past 3 days catching and stacking 10-15% swings. Chainlink by now is all just a matter of DENY, DELAY, AVOID. Deny promises and implications of the past. DELAY necessary milestones. AVOID tough questions, commitment, questions of network mechanics. I say this as a former link holder who sold ~$17.

We are almost at Q4 CY20 and there is nothing concrete by way of staking, despite inferences people have drawn this year from quotes they had to dig up because actual assertions or updates are simply not given by chainlink.

Johnny Huxtable is always visually intimidated by the conversation, as was the host of his Smartcon panel session at smartcon who mentioned how overwhelming it was but "exciting to be part of laying the groundwork for a system that is secure". Deniz Omer answered tough questions by falling back on the defi infrastructure being extremely complex and that we're all "only just building the very base layer now".
