Gloris is in her 70's and helps me feed them (she makes the popcorn). She's cool enough to forgo a bath so we can grow these fish and thats been since the theater closed in April. Though she cleans at the YMCA after pool exercise, I think.

Let me chime in from my humble beginnings as a fisherman.

Catfish, typically you would let them set in water before you eat. Then bleed and skin them. Soaking the meat in milk helps improve flavor.

They also have posinious barbs on back and side fins that hurt like multiple bee stings. Smaller the cat, the sharper the barb.

Carp, are essentially giant goldfish. Very very bony, break out the tweezers to pick out small bones. Not worth eating in my opinion.
