It's simple. The enemy of long call options are theta and losing implied volatility. The easiest way to solve both of those problems is to buy deep ITM LEAPS. Also should mention the reason to go OTM and to get an option closer to expiration is you get more leverage. Simple as that. The strategy is look at the stock, figure out where you think the price is going to go and in what time frame then pick an option that undershoots your target a little and has just a little longer to expiration. I've been following semiaccurate. Check out what happened to their 10nm process. And then read between the lines on their 7nm process. Their chips are also predicated on the next node being ready for the design.
