25% of the rewards of all nodes in LinkPool are charged as a fee, which are distributed between 4000 LP tokens (1000 of which were subject to the public sale).

This means each LP should receive 0.00625% of the rewards earned by all the nodes (25%/4000).

So as it stands, an LP is equivalent to 48k usd for 0.00625% of the rewards. What sort of return would a reasonable investor expect per year? Inflation is 2%.Equities return what, 8-10% nominal (6-8% real) per year on average? So let's say a reasonable return would be somewhere in between. Let's say 4% nominal.

4% p.a. over us$48k is us$1920. If $1920 is 0.00625% of the rewards received by Linkpool, then the total rewards received by LinkPool should be 30 million. Assume this is a rough ebitda estimation. Multiplied by 11.79, you get a valuation of 353 million for LinkPool. Today. This is about 6% of the marketcap of the whole chainlink network.

Does that seem reasonable? For some people it is. Not to me, not at this stage anyway. We have no idea what the landscape of node operators will look like.
