let me add that people are buying eth because they need gas, not because its a good network that can handle all the transactions its getting

Buy also some XRP as a collateral.

Wouldn't high gas decrease sell pressure from small fish? Whales don't need to cash out and they don't care if gas is $100 so they won't be affected

anytime fren

yes it decreases sell pressure but small fish are also not gonna buy if the transaction is 30% of the asset that they are buying

Can someone explain please:
Why does ethgasstation show a transaction with only 21000 gas gets executed quickly but metamask et al require almost 10 times as much gas?

Thanks. But why does handling pajeetcoins raise the gas? I thought that since each block has a Max Gas Limit (12mil rn if I'm not mistaken), this would incentivise miners to process transactions with lower gas, because that would allow them to process more per block and thus earn more per block. Can you explain where I'm wrong?

t. someone who's trying to really understand this shit.

>> No.22092425

>>22092327
the miners get paid in gas so it only depends on who pays the highest price per gas (which is the gwei amount)

>> No.22092444

>>22092327
You interact with more smartcontracts, you pay more fees.
Just eth -> eth or any transfer between wallets, or other tokens would cost you less

Fuck it done. 1/4 at 538 1/4 at 568.

Thanks anons, this feels a lot better.

I think if it hits $498 then it almost certainly breaks $500 and tests $540 then if that's met $600.

I'm going to bed now.

Here's hoping we all wake up a lot richer.
