What have I missed out on? I sold LINK at a tidy profit, but it's nothing special. It was a bit of short term fun while it lasted, but the fun is over now. Exit scam has commenced. XRP's long term potential far exceeds any shitty 10x. Of course, a Link retard wouldn't understand, as they pride themselves on never reading or educating themselves.
The fact Sir Gay is now bringing up derivatives and shit truly shows how desperate he is. The project is fucking dead and he knows it. Flare simply kills it. Do you even know what Flare is? I guess you don't lmao. The fact you can't even see the correlation between Tether rising and Link falling says it all. I can't fucking wait for the day linkfags are fully BTFO, but this slow creeping demise is funny in itself.

https://flare.xyz/app/uploads/2020/08/FXRP_Version_1.0.pdf

LINKfags don't read, don't educate themselves. It's mostly a cult of zoomer morons who migrated from /pol/ and are going to lose all their money. The smarter ones sold at the top weeks ago, and the even smarter ones put that money into XRP.

It's not trustless because there is no incentive for node operators to provide accurate data. If chainlink is the internet to flare's extranet. Flare is pseudo decentralized but it is not trustless enough for large financial contracts.

Remove the reward/incentive and no one will be running nodes/providing data except those who need the data ie. Banks/institutions. Banks can still provide faulty data in flares system so which nodes do you use when they all have the potential to be malicious actors to screw up each others business? Every business that needs data isn't going to run their own nodes. They will want to pay someone else to provide the data and flare is not a safe data provider for that reason. That is not truly decentralized or trustless. It is not as stable a system as Chainlink.

David Schwartz may be a crypographic expert but he doesn't understand economics.

The most trustworthy node can easily be copied by every other node creating a positive feedback loop of nodes who all look trustworthy when only one node actually is. It's a bad accident waiting to happen. If everyone ends up relying on a few nodes who gain nothing and provide free data then again you have a centralized system. As soon a that seemingly trustworthy node pr9vides had data once then potentially trillions of dollars get paid to the wrong party. Flare is an accident waiting to happen.

I could be wrong but your making it seem like all it needs is one wrong transaction when in reality it’s like the elevator from Charlie and the chocolate factory where at all directions the system is checking itself and cross referencing like I’m pretty sure it needs multiple confirmations from the nodes so it goes through one check then it’s confirmed then another check and another and so forth but this all happens in a manner of seconds so idk how easy it would be to topple it with one bad transaction

Dude no, the snapshot happens December 12th. You have to have your xrp in an accepted wallet or exchange by then. The six months is just how long you have to claim it/exchanges to distribute.
