22068820 No.22068820 [Reply] [Original]

Just so you know China and elites are selling off their BTC and using this scam exchange uniswap to exit the market by creating a hype cycle wealth injection before China 51% attacks the network and blames hackers (it was hackers, Chinese govt backdoored chip).

BTC network is more centralized than PayPal lol.

China has been sending loads and loads of chep drugs (research all the confiscated fentanyl and RC chem from china) to the us, setting up dark web markets for us to buy it and selling us the currency to buy it with.

You won't be charged for providing liquidity for a mass communist money laundering operation but you certainly will not be refunded.

Exit Chinese exchanges, buy $BSV, and prepare for the biggest crypto happening ever.

I would be careful if you are a 4chan economist. Eth it has value because of the belief Bitcoin (proof of work standard) could survive an attack by a state actor. The entire idea of a new on chain economy, d apps and icos, predicates BTC being the new digital gold. You are all about to be reminded you are childish retard sheep.

The BTC network is quite open, if other institutions and countries want to level the playing field, they can set up GPU farms to join in on the network. China can't stop them.

This is what it means to be decentralized, borderless, and PERMISSIONLESS.

I'm not arguing whether it's financially viable, only the idea that the BTC is centralized. Yes, China has the majority of the mining rate, but network is still open enough to change this. And if China's farms go down, the network will still run.

The delusion in this post is palpable. Anything can be tokenized on smart contract platforms, including ACTUAL gold, so there's no dependence on BTC at all.

The SOV narrative came into play as a post-hoc rationalization to keep BTC relevant after it was obvious that it was never going to be used as currency. Satoshi Nakamoto (Sergey Nazarov) himself posited on release that bitcoin was meant to be a digital cash protocol, and we all know it failed.
The market can stay irrational for a long time. Smart contracts don't have much adoption yet, whereas Bitcoin has the psychological allure of being the #1 mcap due to the effects of the last normie craze. Once ETH or LINK flip BTC a switch will flip inside people's heads where they start breaking out of this spell that Bitcoin will always stay big because Bitcoin is big because Bitcoin is big.
You can make a comparison to gold, but ask yourself if you really believe any of the analogies or if you are only using them as rationalization because bitcoin is already big. Would any of the common pointss BTC have to gold not hold just the same to other protocols? When a protocol that actually does something useful flips BTC on its value proposition to users instead of name recognition, do you think BTC will last?

The moment Bitcoin dips to #2 in marketcap is the moment the entire market crashes. Trust in Bitcoin's network is paramount -- this would be akin to flushing ten years down the drain and announcing to everyone, "There is no such thing as digital scarcity, because something new can come along at any moment." It'd be like if silver suddenly exceeded the marketcap of gold. All long-term trust in the marketspace would evaporate.

Luckily, this won't happen.

Research institutional investment. That's the key. The only cryptocurrency that institutional wealth is looking at is Bitcoin. I'm certainly not a maximalist but the 200B market cap BTC has today is peanuts. Once/if a paradigm shift occurs from gold to crypto, Bitcoin will receive, overwhelmingly, the lion's share.

>does something useful
Being a store of value IS useful. It doesn't have to be a store of value AND be a currency or *whatever your altcoin does*. I have most of my money in shitcoins actually but if crypto eventually takes flight, it's incredibly pathetic not to give credit to the crypto that fucking made crypto, and to think that any other project has a shot.
