Can I get a quick rundown for this coin?

So basically they will try to keep the price at 1 $ and every holder just gets more and more AMPL? Won't make this the currency worthless after a while?

AMPL's the cow that never stops producing. It's currently creating a new generation of bagholders (1st generation: those who bought in the first half of July). Expect the price to moon for a couple more days then violently correct.

they robbed a handful of people and couldnt get anymore suckers so they ran it up to rob some more people since they didnt get shot . The main thieves are in usa so the chances of them getting executed are pretty near 100% at this point

It destroys AMPL in all wallets holding it if the price goes <$1 to decrease supply and increase demand, rising the price.

It creates AMPL in all wallets holding it if the price goes >$1 to increase supply and decrease demand, lowering the price.

It uses a daily rebase at 10pm EST to adjust the price in either direction based on the oracle. It uses a rolling average to nudge the supply in the correct direction, so it's not like it doubles the supply overnight unless demand is literally skyrocketing.

DYOR. Read the whitepaper.

Thanks for the explanation, anon.

I was just waiting to invest into AMPL after the inevitable correction happens.
With such a unique coin, when's the best time to sell it to take in profits? Like right now when it's pumping?

no

Ideally before a correction, if you are a fast trader than you could potentially take profits straight after a rebase because not only will you have more coins, but they are worth more than the intended target... Though you are betting the price will go down and perhaps you will buy in when the price corrects. If you are a slow trader there is no problems just holding and DCAing until it does become a stable coin at the multi billion dollar market cap... This run might last a while or could collapse back to intended price or below tomorrow... We are in an expansion phase though you have to predict where we will end up based on market cap if you want to swing.

>> No.22035731

>>22035671
Though i must also say best time to DCA is below 1 dollar if it happens again... So you can buy now nor problem, but you will be assuming this run will continue...

that's a good question and it depends on a bunch of factors.
Look at the market cap in the July run. It's textbook bubble.
But you want to maximize rebases, so can't just bank on selling at a high price.

So there's a sweet spot where your % of the supply (which remains the same) is at a relative high point, and where the price is attractive.
It's not just "sell high," it's an optimization game.

if you read common sense comments on reddit and here AND from their team you would of known that you're supposed to wait for them to stop having a big bag themselves before going in.

this is going to 500$

This explanation seems straight forward. From the docs. Read them, it's like 5 mins.

>The AMPL protocol automatically translates price-volatility into supply-volatility. But it is profit-seeking traders, acting on incentives, who propagate these supply changes back into price. In other words price informs supplyalgorithmically, while supply informs pricebehaviorally, in a cycle

seriously? download the data and model it. use the raw dataframe as a baseline for your own calculations. Online platforms are not actually very useful for running analyses of any sort whatsoever. Learn some python or R. This is excel and it's not even basic analysis.

So explain how its going to crash if the devs dont sell a huge fucking stack like last time? If people are getting rebased every day the incentive to leave is not there. Plus I dont thin you are IN on the upcoming information so thats alright. Cant blame ignorance I guess
