22033659 No.22033659 [Reply] [Original]

I've made it. I have over $3 million and I'm 23 years old. I've been a neet for a whole year now. And it was absolutely depressing and boring as fuck. Not working is overrated. I'm going to go back to college now and get a degree in business, with a primary focus on management. I'll be working in the public sphere, developing projects for my local community. Yes, I'll have less vacation days. But I will have a bright social life again, social standing and work where I develop things in the world around me, which actually fulfills me as a person. I don't care about your nihilistic "everything doesn't matter" views. I know. Nothing matters bla bla. Kys. That's the easy and cowards way out into (((muh rationality))). The way of the chad is the faith. Doing good works solely for the purpose of doing good works. Solely for the purpose of having fun while doing it. Because being of value for other people is the highest fun you can have in this life. It's definitely a lot better than wasting time on 4chan, eating take-out, meeting no new people while solely being exercise the only highlight of your day. The life of the NEET is a LIE. GO AND GET A FULFILLING CAREER! That said, being rich is not a lie. Being rich is the best thing that has ever happened to me. It's so relaxing and I can buy whatever I want. I can treat my friends on drugs too, which is epic. But, you still need a career, frens. You have to keep on going forward. Opting out of life is a decision you'll regret.

Yes, that's the meme. I am for sure you have not experienced this reality yourself. Make it first and then come back to talk to me.

The reality is that nearly nobody starts moving or doing something actually fulfilling. 'Whatever you want" quickly becomes "I'll do it tomorrow" and it also quickly becomes sitting naked playing League of Legends at 02:00am because you have nothing else to do and nobody cares what time you wake up tomorrow. People in your environment also don't understand the life you have anymore as a "trader". Most people will start to resent you. Really man. Just make it first. You'll understand it then.

You're both right. Making it gives you options. Boredom will get to you and lack of direction. Most people who make it or have made it still work or have a business for a reason.
I have a couple of businesses in mind I'm looking into already. My plan is a few months off work to neet up and reflect. Then I'll be executing upon my vision.

On the resent thing - you should try to not show off. You will be quickly called disconnected from reality and clueless even if you're simply trying to enjoy your wealth with your friends (paying for $100 steaks or chipping on on nice hotels etc).

I read every day.
I volunteer at a my local art museum.

Still, I have a massive amount of time, that's not filled up. That's why I'm going back to college. Really, the worst thing about being a neet is the loneliness and social reclusive life and total lack of social status. It's ruins relationships and it's very hard to meet new people. It's also really hard to get a girlfriend when you can't answer the question "what do you do?". And no, answering with your creative, sportive and investing hobbies isn't a sufficient answer. Not that I'm caring much about girls guys. It's just a good parameter for my social status argument. Being a neet totally ruins your social status. And you need social status in your life.

Even if you have money it won't change your personality like magic if you don't make an effort to understand what's wrong and what should be changed in your personal beliefs.

I wish we could go back to the past and make it like it never happened.
But now we have to live in this fucked up world.
Being an outcast of society makes you understand the need of freedom some of us can have which applies also to a very small percentage of women who are autistic with a male brain.
Removing feminism would solve a big issue in our current society for a very high % of people, but at the same time I wouldn't want to force the few exceptions to have the same status as the majority of children.
That's why we end up going this route when they try to get freedom for themselves incorrectly thinking that everyone is like them.
If we want to think of a future proof society we will have to find a way to prevent what we see now from happening again and to detect these exceptions to give them enough freedom so they won't try to change the world for their own convenience.

>And it was absolutely depressing and boring as fuck
You need to work on something. Going to college is retarded. Having a normal business, unless you need the money, is also retarded. Having a "career" in the usual sense is retarded.

>Being rich is the best thing that has ever happened to me. It's so relaxing and I can buy whatever I want. I can treat my friends on drugs too, which is epic.
You are a degenerate.

Also good, ofcourse! The point of my point is just that a fulfilling career is better than neet. Neet can make you depressed and lonely. There is a lot of anecdotal evidence for this.

Ofcourse, I'm not forgetting the fact that people in America have a very hard and stressful life working a lot more with a lot more pressure on them than here in Europe. Wageslaving like that without a hopeful future must be very hard.

That's great, happy to hear a different perspective. I should work on my social skills.

I noticed that as well but op sounds like a tool so I’ll let him find out for himself the wonders drugs can bring to his life.

It was a lot of fun to bring a large bag of weed to my best friends birthday party and celebrate with everyone there. I don't mind sharing some of my wealth with my friends, who are all struggling to get by. It's a very unfair world and I feel pity for them having to wage and having to live with their parents and counting every dime etc.

Having financial freedom is not a goddamned meme. The problem you're conflating is the lack of discipline which will prevent people from accomplishing what they want regardless if they made it or not.

And that's a stupid idea to go to college right now, for freaking business of all things, between schools' tuition getting reassessed as the value of schools are going to be reassessed thanks to Corona chan.

Go learn a skill or straight up contact your local government, specifically someone in power in the engineering division asking if you can sit down and have a chat with someone on what you want to accomplish.
