hes regarded as one of those guys who are clearly the villain, but many anons think is innocent and actually the hero of the story. Think Anakin in Star Wars or Walter White.
Griffith was this very high powerlevel character, much stronger than the MC Berserk (link or eth) in the first part of the story. Slowly, Bersek becomes more powerful than Griffith.
Then Griffith fucks the kings daughter and is sent to a torture chamber for months. All his muscle limbs are cut off as well as his tongue, and eventually Guts rescues him.
Griffiths is basically a vegetable and gets cucked, but then a demon shows up out of nowhere, gives him a bunch of powers and he becomes the most powerful character in all of the story and basically kills everyone in the story.
