It's a garbage argument that assumes that the market makers are total retards who keep selling cheap calls despite TSLA pumping heavily over a year and that they also basically shoot themselves in the foot by panic covering and driving the price up. If covering is raising the price and causing them to lose money, there would be no reason for them to do it. Obviously other factors are at play.

The only real reason for the TSLA price is because people are speculating on the future of the company and future share price. This enrages the TSLA bears so they instead invent actual conspiracy theory explanations.

Sales or revenue doesn't give the full picture because TSLA's CapEx is falling rapidly so their margins are improving despite revenue starting to stagnate a bit. They're able to bring in less money by discounting their cars but still rapidly grow and turning a profit. Elon has stated that he only wants a small amount of profit and the rest should feed growth until the company is massive.

Keep in mind that their gross margins are improving at a calculable rate because of economies of scale involved. Other automakers are not producing enough EVs for them to eat into this margin and since they make fewer cars they'll be more expensive for them to produce.

You don't understand the reason why all these companies are delaying their switch to EVs, beyond being unable to innovate, it's because they're already struggling to be profitable and transitioning to EV production will lower their margins and eat into their core business. Ford isn't like Tesla, it isn't growing every year with a huge addressable market. At best it can stop selling ICE vehicles and sell the same amount of EVs which will likely have lower margins and they'll see less profit.

I've made good moves and I've made bad moves. Could've made a lot if i cashed out early but not retirement tier. Ended up holding and cashing out at low 6 figures only to blow it the next few days out of emotion on what I missed out on. Ended up getting btfo'd and going down to upper 5 figures. Just clawing my way back up now. Have managed to make some money since hitting the bottom but obviously no where near as huge as before. Slow and steady yet exhausted, tired, and anxious. Had i cashed out, stayed out of the market for a month, rethought my strategy, and implemented my new strategy I'd be making 2000 a week with relatively "low risk". At this point I'd have to risk a sizeable chunk to just pull 1000 a week. Im so tired guys, I wanted freedom for my family and I yet here I lay tired, weary, anxious, and depressed.

Sure, anon. I'm not good at explaining this so you might just have to look the term up, but basically the gist is this:

You buy a call and you also sell a call. The one you sell has to be more than the one you buy. Basically this means you could buy those fancy $900 calls for super cheap.

The downside is that your gains and losses are limited. Basically you could put in $18 into TQQQ and get $75 at the end of the week.

Just Google some YT videos and there's lots of good ones explaining how you can do this on RobinHood.

This is a fair strategy. My emotions get in the way when I see the signs, so I instead just don't invest anything I will need my hands on for a while. I do some short term gains trading but if I predict wrong (or in the case of a crash) I'll just hold on those stocks in the assumption that most companies I'm in won't go bankrupt and I might just have to wait some years.
In other words, just let my short terms become unexpected longs.

Your strategy doesn't work for most people because they have zero ability to discern good stocks from bad ones and they'll end up holding something like oil stocks until they delist. If you actually hold good stocks than the strategy is fairly profitable, at least in a bull market where the price should return to where it was when you bought it within a short period of time and not tie up your capital for years.

Guess warehouse is a good option then. Im a shut in for the most part so the workplace is one of the few places I can talk to one without it being an approach on the street or a store and the girl just giving me a fake number. At least there i can build up rapport and gauge if shes as interested in me as i am in her. Depends on the company but if you're naturally good at listening to your clients needs and being able to sell your product you should be ok in most small-medium sized firms.
You can always look for inside sales jobs as well at IT firms.
Work your way up to become an account manager and enjoy a comfy salary.
My dad did that and he didn't finish his degree and now has been earning a steady 160k (with OTE) a year before taxes since he was about 37 or something.

I don't know your age but it's never too late to make a career change

Tesla is profitable even during recessions, they were profitable without ZEV credits before Covid-19, their gross margins are much higher than the industry average and they're throwing all their income into building new factories which will greatly increase production output.

Ford sells millions outdated vehicles that they barely make any money on despite having near zero growth. Within a few years, Tesla's production output will be four million a year. If you think anyone will pay 8k for Ford self driving software like people do with Tesla, I have a bridge to sell you.
