Psychology drives the market. People hopped in tech hard at the bottom, it was safe, people started paying a premium for the safety which is why FAGMAN rose so quickly. That got misread by all the volatility traders as real momentum which is how it ended up exceeding ATH so quickly. Well the big boys don't have any reason to pull the rug as long as liquidity is concentrating itself into such a small domain. Of course they're highly invested in the shit, but with a much larger foundation, and a much lower cost basis, they could take a -5% NDX move without any pain.

Eventually all that money is going to have to move somewhere. The market can squeeze retarded amounts of money out of nothing, look at TSLA for example, but to expect a whole index to do it ad infinitum is beyond retarded. Eventually there will be a major sectoral rotation, and the big boys will get their first mover's advantage, and they will have their orders filled first.
