the point of making it is you now hold the most valuable asset you can obtain besides health; time to do whatever you want

I unironically prefer doing my job to free time. I have massive anxiety and zero social life outside work and keeping myself occupied keeps the beasts at bay. Also the sense of progress is nice.

You need to deprogram the wagie mindset anon. One can keep themself busy without working for somebody else. This >>21875865 anon was right, time is the most valuable asset, or more accurately-- free time, time and the freedom (and means) to do with it what you want.

Don't even bother with those places. There are way cooler cheaper (maybe that's not as important but it doesn't hurt to save shekels) places to live, most of them not in America, but many in burgerland nonetheless. Alternatively, you could use that money to buy land and homestead.

I'm a researcher so I basically do useless shit for my own amusement anyway. The pay is shit but the freedom is worth it. Maybe.
