How the fuck did this contract take my ether? Any eth developers can tell me where the contract scammed me as I honestly thought I had it. Why did the contract not send me all of its ether after the correct response was sent?

if(responseHash == keccak256(_response) && msg.value > 1 ether)
{
msg.sender.transfer(this.balance);
}

answer needs to be right and eth value of the message needs to be greater than 1. were you the one that sent the 1.1 eth?

ELI please. I knew it was too good to be real, but I deployed literally the same fucking contract to Ropsten and tested it myself before trying on main net.

At this point I'm not even mad, but how did the ether not get transferred out on the correct answer?

Yes I sent the 1.1 eth and the correct response. The response was set in transaction 2 you can see if you decode it on Etherscan. Something like " ninE ".

do you have any sort of indication that the admin actually set the answer correctly? the admin could have set the answer to 152080 if he wanted lol. also he just called stop() and drained the contract lmao

I'm seriously confused why you expected to win. Why did you send a transaction with "ninE"?

owner updated the answerwards

you can verify this here:

you see some calls from other contracts (changing the answer)

etherscan doesnt show calls from other contracts

OP fell into the brainlet trap by not even checking the variable, but the contract creator probably has a bot that detects actually correct answers and sends a tx with a higher nonce to replace it

>higher nonce
