You need to know solidity and have bots with API scrapers that can find arbitrage opportunities instantly. Its lucrative but its not easy dude

It's easy if you know how to program, the issue is spotting and capitalising on such Opportunities.

I've never looked before, but I'd wager you may have had multiple TX's pending to carry out the exact same arbitrage. The risk reward ratio means that groups of people probably have systems set up to constantly watch for these chances.
